I’m so glad you found your way here. Welcome to the home base for the Kindred Mom community! We exist to bring stories of hope to moms in the weeds of raising little ones. You are not alone in your motherhood journey. There are many other moms who have encountered similar challenges, asked similar questions in the quiet of their hearts, and you will find all kinds of whole-hearted stories about ordinary motherhood experiences here!
In Fall 2020, the Kindred Mom team published a book titled Strong, Brave & Beautiful: Stories of Hope for Moms in the Weeds. It contains 43 heartfelt essays about motherhood from 9 women, and is our humble way of shining light on the strength, courage, and beauty of women who are raising young children. You can find it on Amazon, or wherever books are sold. Giving this book as a gift tells moms in the trenches: “You are strong, brave, and beautiful. I see you.”
For a preview of the book and to receive the Kindred Mom newsletter with occasional updates, announcements, and favorite things that will make you smile and make your life as a mom a little bit easier, subscribe to our email list.

- You can always send us a note and tell us your unique mama-story, ask questions, offer suggestions for future topics. We’d love to hear from you!
- If you’re a writer and want to share some of your own motherhood experience, we accept essays on particular topics each season. Visit our Write for Us page for more information.
